EXHIBITIONS

With over 40 years of continuous work in the Visual Arts, he has also developed as a Designer and Creative Advertiser, teacher, and entrepreneur in various Cultural Projects. Throughout his extensive career, he has earned 13 National Awards, cementing his place in the history of Uruguayan Visual Arts. His work is featured in some of the country’s most important museums, including the Juan Manuel Blanes Museum, where he was awarded a municipal acquisition prize in 1983 at the age of 23. He has presented 24 solo exhibitions, including two in the U.S., and has participated in over 400 group exhibitions in Uruguay and the U.S. His works are part of both public and private collections in more than thirty countries. His pieces have been reproduced in books, catalogs, specialized magazines, calendars, agendas, and general press in Uruguay and abroad.

He began studying drawing in 1973 with watercolorist Esteban R. Garino for three years.

In 1978, he graduated from the School of Applied Arts as a graphic designer.

In 1979, he joined the workshop of master Miguel Ángel Pareja. He has received awards on ten occasions.

At 22, he became part of the Juan Manuel Blanes Museum's collection, winning the 2nd Acquisition Prize at the Municipal Fine Arts Salon (Uruguay).
