Dhonen Brahma

I was born in 1996 in a small house in Assam, India, a place that has greatly influenced my artistic journey. Growing up in the lush landscapes of the northeast, I developed an early connection with nature, which later became a central theme in my work. I completed my Master's degree in Graphics from the esteemed IKSV University, where I honed my skills in both printmaking and painting.
As an artist, I am passionate about capturing human expressions, exploring the emotional depth of faces and bodies. I believe that art is a powerful language for conveying the unspoken, and my work often reflects the complexities of human nature. Through my paintings and prints, I strive to depict the nuances of human emotion, telling stories that words alone cannot express.
In addition to my focus on human expression, I am also drawn to the natural world, particularly landscapes. Using watercolors, I create serene landscapes that capture the beauty of the environment around me. The delicate balance of light, shadow, and color in nature often inspires my work, which aims to evoke a sense of calm and reflection.
