Jeannine Davidoff (Viljoen) is an ambidextrous artist who works with mixed media, collage, pen, pencil, pencil crayon, watercolor. Jeannine's themes are nature based, realism, fantasy, and mandalas with bouts of cartooning. Jeannine Davidoff is the pen name, with the official surname being Viljoen.
John Skotnis and then Steven Risi taught Jeannine Davidoff art at the Yeoville Recreation Centre during the early 80's. Margery Bradfield-Smith was Jeannine's teacher in East London in early 2000's. Jeannine attended live model drawing classes at the Animation School, Cape Town in 2013/4 with Stuart Coutts. These teachers were a fantastic influence and the rest of Jeannine's art education has come through observation, self-study and experimentation, especially with ambidexterity skills.
