Lovia Maleki’s work reflects internal landscapes—memories, dreams, and fleeting moments of daily life—expressed through abstraction and surrealism. Themes of fragility and resilience are central, rooted in the lived experience of womanhood. The female form appears frequently, not only as a subject but as a symbol of life and creation, beauty and love, strength and transformation.
Color, texture, distortion, and symbolism are used to evoke emotion beyond the limits of language. Photography and music influence the creative rhythm, while nature—particularly swans, insects, and aquatic life—serves as a visual language for growth, vulnerability, and renewal.
The work does not aim to replicate reality but to invite viewers into an emotional dialogue—a reflective space where personal experiences and universal themes quietly intersect. Art, in this context, becomes an ongoing exchange between the piece and its observer, where meaning is constantly reborn.
