Anna Berg

I am a Swedish artist who have had several exhibitions in Sweden and in Denmark. I mainly paint in oil and acrylics but I also use other techniques such as graphic art, photo and embroidery. My paintings often consists of a series of pictures that forms a story. I like to focus on details around me, images that has been randomly attached to my memory, which then later takes on a strong symbolical meaning associated with a special occasion. In my embroidery pictures I concentrate on psychological dynamics. I create emblems of various mindsets and of relationships and power structures between people. I also explore the connections between art and science, and the process that is initiated when a symbol affects the unconscious.
