My Background In my early 20's I started ballet dancing next to my career as a teacher in primary schools where I am still active today. As a young teacher, until my early 40's, I have always worked in challenging educational & economical environments to find creative ways to teach children who we're growing up in struggling families. I had to guide these children as they expressed themselves through drama, dance, poetry and in visual arts. This challenged me to blend psychological and didactic forms of teaching with creativity. During this time I educated myself in Dance & Ballet, Theater, Poetry workshops where texts were printed in a traditional way. Since 1995, after 20 years of teaching in difficult environments I decided to focus on my own development in the Visual Arts through professional courses, home schooling and self-study. Throughout this time I've explored Sculpting, Ceramics, Model & Portrait painting. A variety of techniques have crossed my path such as, Watercolor, Acrylic, Collage, Various printing techniques. 12 years ago, I decided expand my knowledge and specialize in Graphical Arts at the Art Academy in Arendonk - Belgium. Two degrees in with exceptional honors in Graphical Art later, I decided to pursue a degree in Monumental Arts at the same institution. Even to this day, one can clearly see the influence of Psychology & Didactics as a recurring theme in my creative works and expressions. Vision as an artist The common thread in my work is how emotions determine human behavior and more recently the analysis of the composition, complexity and volatility of emotions. A wide variety of techniques and materials are always subservient to my desire to express myself.
