Born in 1953 and a native of California, I started painting fifty years ago. Study to complete my bachelor’s degree heightened and refined my skills at developing art that encourages a longer look and the importance of visual imagery in the context of cultural influence, historically and in the contemporary. My passion lies in translating the content of my inner vision into a visual image that is provocative enough to establish a memory of its own.
