Born in Los Angeles CA, Leticia Lacy is an artist and contemporary painter. After receiving her BFA at UCSB, she was a color designer and background painter at Cartoon Network’s "Samurai Jack," "Star Wars Clone Wars," "Power Puff Girls," and then continued to art direct many more animated tv series for Disney and Nickelodeon.
Her current focus is on her fine art. Her personal work depicts bold females on their way towards new horizons. Her paintings have flashy bright color palettes and also, a sense of story. She has an affinity for vintage nostalgia with a new modern twist. In 2024 alone, her work was exhibited and sold in Atlanta GA, Austin TX, Palm Beach FL, Dallas TX, and Santa Fe, NM. In this same year in California, her paintings have found collectors and shown in group shows in San Francisco, Oceanside, Hermosa Beach, Laguna Beach, Santa Monica, Burbank and Palm Springs. She loves painting on round wood circles and finds the circular shape acts as a perfect portal into another place and time.
