ODEE Friðriksson is an Icelandic conceptual and performance artist whose practice explores media intervention, institutional critique, and the politics of visibility. Known for bold acts of culture jamming, his work appropriates corporate language and institutional aesthetics to challenge power structures, provoke public discourse, and expose systems of complicity.

From the fictional airline MOM air to the high-profile project We’re Sorry—an intervention addressing corporate corruption in Iceland and Namibia—ODEE’s work operates across digital and physical spaces, often blurring the line between reality and satire. His projects have sparked international media coverage in outlets such as The Guardian, ARTnews, Hyperallergic, Artnet, The Art Newspaper, and national broadcasters in Iceland, Norway, and Namibia.
ODEE’s work embodies resistance through wit, rigor, and artistic disruption—often turning the mechanisms of power into the very materials of his art.

He holds a BA in Fine Art from the Iceland University of the Arts and an MA from the University of Bergen, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Fine Arts at Texas Tech University.
