Kala Cree Cullars, both Visual Artist and Author, creates reality on the immaterial and material planes. She holds a BA in Psychology and is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She is currently a graduate student studying Forensic Psychology at TCSPP. Her work serves to free people from the societal scar tissue of perfectionism, liberating them to express and explore with wildness and curiosity. Her pixels and poems have been featured in various literary magazines and books such as Garland Court Review, High Shelf Press, Beyond Words, etc. Her latest poetry book is entitled, “Memoir of a Ghost”. Kala’s work is meant to remind people of the truth of who they are: spirit housed in the body. Her highest intention is to inspire people to connect with their own divinity and creativity. It is also intended to meet the viewer at the intersection of pain purged with purpose.
