Cecilia was born in 1965 and grew up in a small seaside town in Southern Sweden. Now she lives and works in Malmö. Growing up in a vet's family by the sea might be the reason of an early interest to draw and paint animal life. The myths of Greece, fables, dreams inpires into a floating world of creatures.Cecilia took an early interest in drawing and painting and finally, landed in art school, followed by graphic-art school.After graduating in 1989, she started out as a graphic designer in the advertising business in Malm, Sweden. She attended the Academy of Art College in San Francisco in 1994 and ended up, more or less by chance, as an independent illustrator in 1995. Beyond her commercial work, she also tries to further her artistic career. Cecilia have had five one-man exhibitions and has been selected for several group exhibitions. A couple of corporate exhibitions per year also help keep the business humming.
