Elena Malakhova was born in 1976 in Omsk, Russia, lives and works in Italy. Her work was hidden from the eyes of others for a long time, her life was filled with sports. However, her passion for drawing never faded, on the contrary, over time it only grew stronger, gradually turning into an inevitable calling. At the age of 33, Elena took a decisive step and entered art school, and then the Institute of Arts of Omsk State Pedagogical University. It was this choice that became the starting point of her professional development. Soon she took part in a number of group exhibitions in Omsk, where her works attracted attention with their sincerity, emotional depth and expressive simplicity of plots. Moving to St. Petersburg at the age of 40 opened a new stage in Elena's work: the cultural richness of the city influenced the development of her pictorial language. However, it was the move to Italy in 2023 that became a turning point: in less than a year, Elena created a series of works for a solo exhibition held in Torre di Mosto in 2024, and took part in a number of other artistic projects. Today, Elena Malakhova continues to explore the expressive possibilities of painting, following an intuitive and sincere path. Her creative journey, which began in Russia and continues in Italy, is a testament to the power of artistic vocation, capable of turning a dream into a bright and multifaceted reality, where color becomes the true language of the soul. Her works are in private collections around the world, in Switzerland, Italy, Lithuania, Germany, Russia, the USA.
