Yasemin Kuzucu

My photographs of the city and its inhabitants reflect upon the notion of symmetry, in a attempt to investigate which side of perception is closer to reality. I explore urban landscapes, plants and nature, and human movement - in particular dance.

I trained as a photographer and filmmaker in Istanbul, Turkey. I also work full-time as a hospital nurse.

My work was exhibited at several collective shows in Istanbul between 2013 and 2024.

I was awarded the
the most beautiful tulip, exhibition prize at IBB photo contest - 2013,

best photography prize at the anadolu hayat photo contest - 2016.
