Simon Palmer

I'm an Australian artist – (not to be confused with a couple of very good artists of the same name elsewhere). I mainly paint pure abstract artworks and semi-abstract landscapes but I also paint some still-life and figurative works. I'm particularly interested in colors and their interactions, plus the perceived edges between literal representation and abstraction.

Originally practicing as an architect, and then later as a graphic designer, I have been painting and exhibiting concurrently with my other work for all my career. My design background and artwork constantly influence one another.

I promote my artwork through galleries and online.
