« My plastic research seems to me to be an involuntary journey populated by a multiplicity of perceptions. I take a lot of photographs. Often simple and evocative things. Traces of stains on stones, leaves, reflections in the water... All these elements are like little seeds that contribute to the development of a new work, a new series. These elements can be superimposed on others, associated with memories, to come out in the painting in another form. I am sensitive to all sorts of details. Colors, smells, sounds, shadows, shapes. Small, sometimes insignificant elements can all be a path to explore, consciously or unconsciously.
I prefer to use natural materials. I favor the unison of cold or warm colors in a monochrome allowing to express a kind of unity. I associate them with white and gold. Pigments or vegetable inks.
