Born: 1962 in Mariampol, Lithuania

The painting is largely abstract, pastotic, multi-layered – the works are painted in many sessions (and not in one day or even a month). In addition, special importance is given to the coloristics of the painting, the psychological effect of colors (or their mutual harmony/relationship)

At Vytautas Magnus University, Faculty of Art in Kaunas (1997-2001), acquired qualification of Art historian - bachelor degree.

At Vytautas Magnus University, Institute of Art in Kaunas (2001-2003), acquired qualification of Art historian - master degree (specialization in Heritage Protection).

2004-2008 doctoral studies at Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts.

Awards: At Vytautas Magnum university defended Master dissertation, reviewing main problems of restoration of wall paintings in the Architectural Ensemble of Paaislis Monastery, in 2004 was awarded by Science Academy of Lithuania.
