Andrea Elek is a self-taught abstract artist, interior designer, singing bowl therapist from Hungary. She is raised up in a small city near Budapest and still lives there. Even as a child, She felt different from the others, very sensitive to energies. On her parents' advice, She learned to play the organ. Music had a great influence on her.
As a regular visitor to interior design exhibitions, She was intrigued by the artworks on display at the stands, as well as the beauty of the designer wall finishes. Listening to her inner voice She started to create abstract paintings. Her diverse interests and educational background contribute to her unique perspective and approach to her artwork.
As She says… - „ Creating is a wonderfully uplifting feeling for me. It's like when I meditate, a combination of real "here and now" moments. I love each momentum of the creative process. I shut out the outside world, and in these moments, only me and the canvas exist in my inner world.
I prefer using various techniques and natural units like sand, stone, shell, moss, paper and textil, as well. I extremely enjoy making artistic textures, rough surfaces with palette knives and different tools on canvas. The three-dimensional artistic texture not ...
In addition to her spiritual interests, Andrea had a diploma as a sound bowl healing therapist and has studied parapsychology, astrology, and chronobiology. Nowadays She guides and combines sound healing sessions with meditations, using Tibatian singing bowls and other intuitive instruments (as kalimba, wind chime, koshi, drum ocean, rain stick) in yoga studios and open air, surrended by the nature.
Andrea graduated as an Interior Designer and finished several projects. As a regular visitor to interior design exhibitions, She was intrigued by the artworks on display at the stands, as well as the beauty of the designer wall finishes.

Artworks are exhibited in hotels, cafés and restaurants. This is beneficial because it gives people the opportunity to enjoy art as part of their everyday lives. In addition, some of the works on display are already in private hands, meaning that they have been purchased and have become part of personal collections. Additionally, being featured in interior design magazines provides valuable networking opportunities and collaborations with other industry professionals.
