Born in 1978 in Sabiñánigo (Spain), I showed an interest in drawing from a young age, winning several prizes in children's drawing contests in my hometown. During those childhood years, I took drawing lessons with the Zaragoza painter Miguel Mainar, which strengthened my passion for drawing and painting. In 1996, I moved to Zaragoza to study Chemistry, and I have lived in the city ever since. Although my academic background was not related to art, my interest never disappeared, and I continued my self-taught learning, experimenting with different painting techniques. I found watercolor to be the technique that most fulfilled me and allowed me to express myself. Around 2015, thanks to social media, I began discovering the works of great watercolor artists like Joseph Zbukvic, Álvaro Castagnet, and Thomas Schaller, and I became aware of the need to complement my self-taught path with more specific training in watercolor technique. Since then, my education has mainly consisted of online courses, complemented by in-person masterclasses and workshops, as well as all the resources generously shared by many artists through social media. Since 2018, I have been a member of the Agrupación de Acuarelistas de Aragón, of which I was Secretary in 2019. In 2020, I established my painting studio in Zaragoza, where I have a permanent exhibition of my watercolors. I also have a YouTube channel about watercolor with over 20,000 followers, where I share my knowledge about materials and techniques, mainly aimed at hobbyists and beginners. My work now focuses primarily on research into textures and granulation in watercolor. Nacida en 1978 en Sabiñánigo (España), desde niña muestro interés por el dibujo ganando varios premios en certámenes de dibujo infantil en mi localidad natal. En aquellos años de infancia tomo clases de dibujo con el pintor zaragozano Miguel Mainar lo que afianza mi atención por el dibujo y la pintura. En 1996 me traslado a estudiar Química a la Universidad de Zaragoza, ciudad donde resido desde entonces. Aunque mi formación académica no estuviera relacionada con el arte nunca desaparece ese interés y continúo mi aprendizaje de forma autodidacta probando diferentes técnicas pictóricas encontrando en la acuarela la técnica que más me llena y me permite expresarme.
