I am a professional industrial designer, artist, and lecturer, working from my small studio in Stockholm. Alongside my design practice, I have been exploring painting since the early 2000s, primarily using acrylic and gouache. Over time, this pursuit has naturally evolved alongside my design work. My paintings focus on geometric, non-figurative forms, often aligned with Concrete Art. I work at the intersection of concrete art, hard-edge painting, and modernism, exploring the dialogue between composition, color, and perspective. Through distinct color fields and precise geometric forms, I investigate the relationship between surface, space, and balance. My process is guided by a search for purity and simplicity, letting color and form carry the entire expression. I am drawn to this artistic path because it brings a sense of calm and order to my mind. In a world that often feels chaotic, harmony of color and composition can be quietly soothing, almost meditative. The result is work that feels both direct and contemplative, with an architectural presence, where abstraction takes on a tangible, physical form. I hope my paintings evoke a sense of calm and presence, sharing the mindful experience they give me.
