For me, the most important thing is the mood and atmosphere. I like when the image gives a pause for thought. I'm not sure why, but the darker sides of life always seemed more inspiring to me. Transience, isolation, loneliness, the fragility of human existence, the futility of human endeavor or inability to understand another human being.
