Linda Medd

I grew up in Tennessee and currently live in Georgia with my husband and our dog, Harley. I left the corporate world about six years ago and have began working as a full-time artist for five years. Painting is the most fulfilling way of expressing myself that I have experienced and I am grateful that I can do what I love every day.

I am a mixed media artist working in a contemporary, abstract style. Much of my work is non-representational and spontaneous. My fascination with texture and pattern influences my work. I enjoy painting abstract landscapes with organic shapes, gestural marks and patterns inspired by my life long love of nature. I strive to create work that brings beauty and a peaceful feeling into my collectors' homes.

I am primarily a self-taught artist. I have learned through experimentation, workshops, and other artists. I love that I can continue learning and evolving as an artist for as long as I want to.

My work is on display at Sis & Moon's in Alpharetta, Georgia and K Squared in Marietta, Georgia.
