Huntley Muir

Influential & highly regarded in the UK, Europe & North America as illustrators & stage designers, London based multi-media collaborative Huntley Muir combine drawing, painting, graphics & video to create striking, energetic sometimes enigmatic & always powerful images of immediacy & relevance.
Working with paint, canvas, paper, drawing, recycled cardboard, found objects, collage, photography & print to make bold, expressive, narrative works inspired by and reacting to every day objects and events, news, fashion, fables, history, TV, Film, overheard conversation, the printed word. Theirs is a thought provoking, witty and ironic world laced with anarchy.

Canadian Donna Muir studied at art school in Toronto working as an artist & illustrator in Toronto, New York & London before establishing Huntley Muir .

Brit Su Huntley gained a BA in Graphic Design (Illustration) from St Martins School Of Art London & an MA in Illustration from The Royal College Of Art where she became a visiting tutor.

Several solo shows in Los Angeles & London including a retrospective at The Royal National Theatre, a site specific installation of large works in an Islington car park & an exhibition of photography.

Works included in many group shows in London, Los Angeles, New York.
