Sarah Scouarnec

Coming from a family of ceramists, I grew up in the world of Earth and modeling. After a career as a lighting designer in cinema, theater and museography, I refined my artistic vision and enriched my culture. In 2014, I started creating lighting fixtures mixing various materials, before devoting myself entirely to sculpture in 2020.

Today, based at the Ateliers de la Morinerie near Tours, I work with clay and bronze, creating figurative sculptures centered on Humans. My “poetic-surrealist” universe is inspired by surrealism and mythology to explore metamorphosis, our connection to nature, femininity and existential questions. Through movement, expressions and powerful symbols, I seek to breathe a real “impression of life” into my works.
