Born in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1988, Anna Collevecchio grew up assisting in her mother’s cityscape painting studio, where her lifelong immersion in visual language began. She holds a BA in Graphic Arts and both an MA and PhD in Communication Studies, and spent over a decade teaching design, branding, and creative strategy at the college level in Russia and New York. Now based in Jersey City, NJ, Collevecchio works across disciplines as an artist, designer, and creative director. Her practice, rooted in a methodology she calls Temporal Psychoexpression, is a spiritual-scientific inquiry into consciousness, time, and the vibrational nature of reality. Her work investigates how art can serve as a transmission device for altered states of awareness and inner transformation, drawing from physics, philosophy, and contemplative traditions. Each painting becomes not just a finished object, but a portal — part meditative tool, part resonant trace of an unseen process. Anna is a resident artist at ART150 in Jersey City, a member of ProArts, and an AIGA mentor. She has taught and mentored hundreds of students and led over 100 workshops in painting, drawing, and creative process. Her past collaborators include leading tech, healthcare, and media organizations, but her true passion lies in mapping new territories of awareness — one stroke, one breath, one portal at a time. And yes, she really loves gold.
