Louise Kaye

I was born in Hampstead, London, and lived in and around this neighbourhood all my life.

I have also spent a great deal of time visiting France Spain and Portugal, Mediterranean culture is very much part of my identity.

Despite being a Londoner at heart my inspiration is the natural world, Hampstead Heath is a recurring theme/starting point as rural landscapes when travelling abroad.
I have followed a yogic path for many many years metaphysics is also often an underlying thread that informs my work.

I studied languages at Bristol University, in the early eighties and and the attended Central St Martins Art College London BA Hons Fine Art and Critical studies 1992.
