Maria Rado

I work primarily in acrylics and often favour big canvases. Subject matter in my paintings changes as I progress through my searches. I am interested in colour compositions and subtle textures which leads to some abstract paintings. I work to create paintings with sophisticated and refined colour pallets and compositions.

Maria worked in the advertising and publishing industry for 20 years in Bulgaria, USA, Canada and Seychelles (yes!) always having creativity, painting, illustrating and designing at the core of her work. She moved to UK in 2018 where she started painting full time as an independent artist. She is a resident artist at Beckenham Place Mansion studios in South London where regular open studio days are held.
