I am a prolific artist who works from The Garage Studio based in Derby, UK. I was born on the Isle of Wight and spent most of my life working and travelling as a chef. Ten years ago I discovered I could paint and make unique and original art; semi abstract highly colourful large scale oil paintings became my trademark. From 2006-2009 I attended Derby University studying Fine Art and gain a 2:1 BaHons in Fine Art. Since then I have had various one man exhibitions and been part of many collective exhibitions, my work sells steadily around Derbyshire and I have gained many commissions providing original works to private homes. My objective for the future is to gain a wider audience and continue painting and developing as an artist. End of year update: This last year, 2013, I have been part of 1 public exhibition at banks Mill, Derby. I have had two solo exhibitions in Derby. Total sales have amounted to 15 paintings sold and one large commission completed and installed ( Private Buyer )So on reflection, fairly successful.
