Painting and drawing to reveal presence and emotion. For more twenty years, my work has explored the dialogue between inner life and the outer world, between strength and delicacy. As a painter, I first embraced large abstract landscapes on canvas, created with the palette knife, where the energy of gesture and the vibration of color reflect a direct connection to nature and space. Today, I return to my first passion : drawing and watercolor. Inspired by the aesthetics of the Italian Renaissance, my graphite and ink portraits reveal another dimension of my research-intimacy, contemplation, and serenity. Each medium becomes a different voice to express the same quest : how to translate presence and emotion through matter, light and line.
