Erika Calesini was born in Morciano di Romagna and since than she’s been living in San Giovanni in Marignano, near Rimini.
When she was a child, by observing her father working has a smith, she understood that art was her path.
She studied fashion and style at the Institute of art F.Mengaroni in Pesaro with a specialization in fashion at the Institute Secoli in Bologna. After an experience as fashion stylist, thanks to the collaboration with high level companies, national and international, in 2005 she decided to fully dedicate herself to sculpture, with personal and collective exhibitions in art galleries, museums, public and private areas. The deep passion for those objects where she can find a soul, is the essence of her art.
Often in Milan, Rome and Barcelona, she keeps up to date in the world of art.
Greeted with enthusiasm in various art events, she receives favourable comments about her work. Erika Calesini immediately becomes known as an artist and her expressive strength is well appreciated: it is easy to find her works in the houses of various personalities. Her art finds space in the magazines and newspapers such as
“Il Corriere della Sera”, “La Repubblica”, “Il Resto del Carlino”, “Il Messaggero”.
