My work centers on my own history, my everyday life and changes with time, my time. I have been painting for over 25 years now, and I believe I still have much to learn and experiment with.

I began my artistic practice with collage but I change techniques as soon as they no longer feel challenging and, thus, I start with a different medium, a different format, a different concept. So, in this path, I have worked with oil painting, drawing, embroidery, installation, photography, sound and video. I frequently combine techniques with oil painting, I paint over photographs, I embroider paintings.

I am interested in memory, identity and history, especially those of women. From working by gazing at my own navel, I suddenly found myself engrossed by my surroundings and, thus, my work changed. Now, I feel as if I can see much more than I used to.
