"My main interests are abstraction combining various degrees of figuration. I often choose subjects undergoing tense experiences and work on images that come to me just before going to sleep. I like to paint things that are “different” and do not stick with any particular style. I am often interested in the “narrative” aspects of a painting. What kind of situation is represented? What might the viewer imagine it to be?"
