Throughout my life as an artist, I have explored various forms of media & stylistic approaches to creating a range of different artworks, primarily focusing studies on drawing in graphite & charcoal. Despite this providing the foundational knowledge and skillset from which to build towards becoming more creative in my works, I found myself pushing more and more towards expressive pieces which veered away from the more figurative, classical representations I had always studied.

But it wasn’t until 2012 that I transitioned towards painting, first delving into the world of oils, before trying out various other media (nothing like trying to run before you can walk). Since then, however, I have navigated from utilising classical methodologies in oil for my own development, through impressionistic deviations, finally to a more expressive and interpretative abstract style; and one which is has proved to be constantly evolving for the last 5/6 years, into a unique approach to abstract expressionism which utilises an expressive multi-dimensional approach to painting.
