I am an emerging artist who has the ambition to reach a worldwide presence.

I have an active social media presence; my artworks are posted at Saatchi online, Instagram and Facebook: .carvalhoribas.

I am able to come up with a range of original ideas, theories and fascinations through a variety of mediums. Although the paintings are my principal medium of expression, I also have ability to use stones, roots and trunks to create superb two, three, and four dimensional works.

I have experience in creating art for either sale or exhibition and to this end I work hard to stay current with the latest artistic tools and techniques.

I'm authority in my style. My paintings are unique because I made them. My work is the result of a journey of observation, mistakes, successes and learning.

My mind is constantly painting. My work is compromised with myself, with my relationship with the world and it is the result of an existential necessity.

I love the life. I paint as if I was being chased by working with millions of thoughts and projects at the same time. Easily I cover my spaces with my paintings - and if the others allow their spaces too!!!

My work in painting has a learning journey as long as in law. In 1987/88 I started taking painting classes in porcelain and canvas in Rio Negro city. In 1990 I took graduation in technical drawing at the University of the State of Santa Catarina, during one year. Since then, I had my work based on learning by observation and practice. I usually produce between 15/20 big canvas per year and 30/40 smaller canvas.
