Eric Yi Lin

I've loved to draw since I was a little kid. I grew up doodling in my text books when I was in school. I was just an ordinary kid who would rather paint than do my homework. This inevitably led me into a journey to become an artist.

As an artist, I never settled on a specific medium. During my time in Art Center College of Design, I worked with oil and acrylic. After I graduated, I mostly worked in a digital medium for motion graphics and video games. It wasn't until early 2013 that I started to discover my passion for watercolor.

Watercolor's illusive nature makes it a difficult medium to work with- one of the hardest in my humble opinion. However, it is also one of the most beautiful and enjoyable mediums to paint with. For this reason I'm constantly on a journey to be a better watercolor painter. .
