Ezequiel Toledo (b 1977) is an Argentinian artist based in Buenos Aires. He attended to painting and sculpture classes since a very young age, and studied Graphic Design after high school and, worked mostly in the fashion industry creating products for different brands.
He creates mixed media collages focusing on typography, shape, color and texture. In addition, often produces limited edition giclée prints.
He makes his work mostly by hand, using paper, acetate sheets, adhesive tapes, markers, etc., and many times he uses his owns old sketches as base for new original work, as well as used envelopes, paper, cardboard, etc.
Most recently, he started to explore the use of wood to create puzzles based on his collages, and as a future project, he is starting to research upcycling fashion as an extension of his collage work.
