Fabiana Chiarelli

I'm a freelance artist photographer and illustrator, teacher of graphics and photography at a Higher Technical Institute. I also teach in professional laboratories, workshops and courses for adults.

During my career I've curated numerous solo and group exhibitions, developed artistic projects and editorial projects.

I specialize in analogue and digital photography for fine art printing and editorial project, visual art and digital and analogue illustration with mixed media for fine art printing.

Artistic poetics:
I take care of my work of art in detail, starting from the concept to conceptual research, the use of the best materials of fine arts, to the most sought-after analog film, to the choice of the most suitable fine art paper for printing of the work. I follow the entire workflow that goes from realization of the work to the preparation for printing, to the final fine art printing. For me it is important to create something unique that can convey emotions that last over time.

I grew up in an artistic context, so the history of art, photography and graphics represented for me not only a choice of studies but also a path of personal and professional growth. The interest in the visual arts led me to undertake studies in advertising graphics, perfecting the photographic technique, graphics and artistic knowledge. After completing my first degree in Cultural Heritage with a historical-artistic path, I deepened my studies in the teaching of Visual Arts and Photography, acquiring the knowledge that allowed me to teach graphics, illustration and photography. The interest in marketing strategies related to visual communication led me to obtain a second degree in economics. I further perfected my technical and conceptual skills by attending numerous workshops, comparing, studying and updating myself continuously.
