ABOUT
EDUCATION

Miniature Artist from Pakistan. I learnt The Traditional Indian Mughal Miniature paintings and its various styles which include Mughal, Persian, Rajhisthani and Pehari.
My recent collection deals with a range of social and political issues but as a female artist in a male dominated society always been more inclined to talk about what it means to be a woman in the dark parts of the world. My paintings on "˜karokari' are a good example of that. In all, attention is drawn to the abuse of power in all it senses which is the root cause of a corrupt and unjust system affecting our personal judgment of human values.

Graduated from the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore, Pakistan.
