Federica Cirri Montani, aka Chicca, was born and raised in Florence as daughter of two creatives. Never felt enough full filled from the outside world she then often found peace through her passions: art, music, & design. Guiding figure for her community she often pushes herself through tough tasks; year after year she reached having a blooming and international CV and developed a very strong creative instinct and a high aestetic taste.

Her painting carrier started as an inner intimate process across her feelings, which evolved in communicating a clean, modern and elegant feel. These rigorous geometries bring a “metaform” to the subject taking it to a new dimension, through the colors she wants to please the eye and transmit peace as well as equilibrium to the observer, who feels safe here and finds space to think and go deep in his thoughts. Some of her works are instead totally different, they leave space to a totally deconstructed and instinctive mind flow. These form of expression represent the contrasts of her feelings and inner challenge, the constant balance seek and the need to let herself free.

Chicca was born and raised in Florence. After completing her studies in Music and Foreign Languages she spent time between London and Barcelona while obtaining her Degree in Interior Design (laurea cum laude). During those years she also created her own handmade swim wear label. She then lived in NYC, Madrid and Milan pursuing experiences in design, fashion and communication. Her interest for art developed strongly after a Master's Degree in the field which allowed her to gain the knowledge necessary to be hired to direct Aria Art Gallery in Florence for 5 years, which she turned into one of the city's most interesting  galleries bringing important contemporary artists to town. She then collaborated with Luisa Via Roma selling a series of art prints curated by her , the "Art Democracy" project. Her other big passion is music; she is infact a classical trained pianist who can frequently be found as a DJ selecting groovie tunes at the best underground private parties, glamorous cocktails, clubs and charity galas. She is also a volunteer at the Red Cross.
