Lives and works in Nottingham
Exhibits and sells both nationally and internationally

Fiona explores the nature of time and tide, focusing on life's never-ending circle and our place in it.
The earth-like texture of oil paints grounds her work. The process of layering or distressing the surface are like the elements that mould and erode the landscape
Fiona merges seascapes and still life paintings, exploring static objects against the flow and changing tide. The artist is moved by land, sea and sky exploring timelessness, but also change.
Her still life paintings inspect life's beauty and fragility. objects which become a representation or a memory of a person are important in her work. She explores the sense of time, memory and emotion, the feeling of connection through objects and the environment.
Fiona is influenced by J.M.W. Turner, Joan Eardley, Ben Nicholson, Fred Cumming, Robert E Wells

Fiona trained and worked as a Nurse in the NHS,
Her Artistic journey began at Jacob Kramer College of Art in Leeds. a prestigious ‘old school’ art college where its alumni included Damien Hirst and earlier Henry Moore and Barbra Hepworth.
Fiona completed a BA (hons) in Fine Art and HND in Graphic Design before becoming Designer and Studio Manager in the publishing industry.
