Fiona Mouzakitis

I live and work in Athens. Iam a painter and printmaker.
Most of my work deals with feelings and emotions. The center image in most of my pictures is the human body from which all feelings and emotions radiate. Color is not always realistic. Space is also manipulated in order to convey a special emotion and feeling. Most objects portrayed in my artwork have a symbolical meaning. My favorite medium is the monotype. Through my monotypes I express my ideas and then turn them into paintings. In my solo shows, I try to create an environment for the visitor, combining painting, printmaking and video. I love art and the unexpected discovery of beautiful artworks, thereforeI I curate exhibitions and document the Greek art scene on YouTube.
