Francesca Lancisi

I love painting and working with watercolor.
The centre of my attention is the language of colous, the infinite emotional echoes they generate, and their symbolic meaning. My work is also particularly inspired by the observation of Nature (leaves, trees, seeds, pods, flowers, archetypal forms of life, natural elements, pebbles, minerals, fossils, fractals...) as a form of meditation upon the facts of life and spirituality. In the series "Quello che resta. That what remains" I've been working on the concepts of casualty and reuse.

I've exhibited my paintings in Italy and abroad, and my artworks are part of private collections in Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, Ireland, United States and Canada.
