Francoise Lerusse

Belgian, self-taught photographer, Françoise Lerusse lives between Brussels, South of France, London and Buenos Aires. After being graduated at Liège University in French literature, she turned to radio creation, TV journalism and film documentary. She worked for public radio and television in Belgium before joining leading advertising agencies as a copywriter, signing campaigns that received different awards. During those years, she approached photography.


From 2014 to 2017, she went to photography courses and seminars and got more and more involved and passionate about it. Her main subjects are urban spaces and people in the city. She often focuses on the graphic aspects of her pictures and considers photography as a way to turn a documentary in art.
