Gabriel King Houis

I am a twenty-three year old French-American artist who specializes in abstract and contemporary art. I am from New York City, where I am also currently based. I studied at the Arts Students League of New York with teachers such as Frank O’Cain and Peter Bonner who have taught me a great deal about abstract painting. While I was there, I practiced combining cool and warm colors, working on the relationships between shapes, and ultimately developing my own style. My teacher Peter Bonner introduced me to several abstract artists such as George Blacklock, Luc Pierre, and Taher Jaoui, who I believe all have different styles, but share a common use of color.
