Born in Marín (Pontevedra) Spain. From a very young age she moved to Madrid, where she has her residence, never leaving contact with her native country, Galicia.
All her work is using the painting over the gold and silver bread leaving the light coming thorugh.
After many years of experimentation in painting, she has come to the use of Stofado.
The return to the old Stofado technique, used in religious mysticism, which now shapes in its inner world.
Stofado is a technique of polychrome wood imagery that has its origins in Gothic art.
The origin of the name is believed to be found in the Italian word "stoffa", whose meaning is rich fabric. The main material is gold bread leaf (also silver or copper bread), sheets that print this tone on the surfaces on which it is desired to apply. Then with different pigments are covered these sheets and finally by the scraping of these last layers drawings are made, so that the underlying gold or silver is discovered.
I study Psychology, Interior Design, Decoration and Plastic Arts.
Her work has always been developed in the areas of Interior Design and Plastic Arts.
