Gaynor Leverett-Jaques

Painting abstracted work encourages exploration of emotion-and a personal narrative for the viewer. More recently, as I’m known for my use of bold colours, I’ve plunged deeper by investigating the meaning of colours to me, and personal experiences that feed my use of colour.

Selling my work internationally with collectors as far as Australia and San Francisco, I’ve been shortlisted for the Women in Art prize and my work has been selected for a variety of open shows.

I’m lucky to be work with and be represented by Art Star Gallery who sell my work at the renowned Affordable Art Fair.

For over three years I’ve co-hosted a podcast for artists “artchatter” as a way to engage and support other artists who also work alone. This is leads on from my work mentoring artists; working on confidence and self awareness.
