“My paintings represent the echo of the voice of the world that escapes time and space thanks to sharing. They come from voice messages received through instant messaging applications, such as Whatsapp and Messenger, collected as a result of calls to action launched on the web.
My goal is to make people reflect on the importance of their own experience as a result of a unique, unrepeatable and inimitable existence, therefore a precious one, and if it is for one it must necessarily be so for another; for all others.
A testimony belongs to the private space of the person who, choosing to respond to this call, opens up of their own free will to the meeting, to the possibility of discovering other realities beyond the surface, the known, prejudices and discrimination.
It is an act of acceptance, generosity and immense trust in one's neighbour, which is also carried out in a complex context such as social networks, today often home to messages aimed at fomenting vile urges. In the stories there is no need to show but to be, and when this attitude is combined with a practical action, it becomes a gesture serving continuity and the future, both people and the world, virtual and concrete”.

Giada Bianchi is a Swiss artist and journalist based in St. Moritz. Born in Lugano in 1974, after attending Lugano's Centro scolastico for the art industry, she started working as an interior designer and then moved to journalistic writing, without ever abandoning the pictorial investigation.
In 2015, she left the world of media to devote herself full time to the search for effective forms of communication and deepen the pictorial expression resulting from the manifestation of presence as a result of an existence, a task fostered by the condition of complete exploratory immersion achieved with moving to Engadine in 2017.
The resulting paintings are metaphors of her personal experience, to which calls to action were later added to incorporate the experiences of others, creating abstract narrative compositions capable of generating new meetings and sharing. The result is art based on transmission with the intention of placing the emphasis back on the lives of each person, today often sacrificed to exhibition so that we can recognise ourselves in the experience common to all: life.
With her work, she wants to raise awareness of the values of distinctiveness and experience, of sharing and action, all the while promoting conte...
Her paintings have been exhibited in various locations throughout Switzerland, including the UBS Gallery in Lugano, the PGI Gallery in Poschiavo and the Bever Lodge in Bever. In 2017, she is also chosen to be featured along with 10 other artists in Mag Magazine. In 2018, at the 1b Gallery in Lugano, the #NOI1 (#US1) painting was chosen as part of a 4 month collective exhibition focused on sexual and gender discrimination.
