I am creative when I create...

I'm a man.
I was born and i live in Marseille, in the south of France, with a view on Mediterranean sea ! (That's very important)
I live with Delphine and we have 4 childrens. I consider that three of them are artists.

My main work axis is the body. Human or animal. The body says everything about everything, it speak about mighty and weakness. Joy and sadness. Fear and courage. It is a palimpsest where history of individualities is always written and erased.
The body is also used to hide and appear.
This theme is endless !

My medium : Watercolor, acrilyc, oil pastels, natural pigments, ink, pencil, pen, black stone, charcoal, and material.

I often say "In painting, what I like is the drawing !"
My works are collected in private collections in France ; Marseille, Nice, Paris, Toulouse (where some people bought me more than one painting) and others regions in France.

I also sold some of my works in Belgium, Italy and Germany

I'm a teacher of history and geography.
I teach also art history. With a specialty, history of gardens and history of landscape in art history. But I’ve never painted only one landscape... a contradiction perhaps !

I’m a self-taught painter. But i have a lot of teachers, others artists i meet, dead (I meet them only by hystory knowledge !) or alive (i meet really) and a lot of school ; museums, art fairs, and artistics site as Saatchi, and others.

I wrote "I am creative when I create"... what does that mean ?
I began a work with a theoric idea. I know what i want to say. But i don't know the form of the painting (drawing...) I have few ideas about colors, materials. I work instinctively. The choices are made almost at the moment when I dip the brush in the paint.
