Gloria Marchesini

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Gloria Marchesini is a versatile artist, original as well as captivating, who incorporates several different techniques and innovative ideas on her artwork, be it on her drawings, engravings, paintings and sculptures. Her artistic talents also include interior designing, landscaping designing, having already conceived and executed more than 100 projects with recognizable success in many different cities such as Rio de Janeiro, Niteroi, Sao Paulo, Buzios and Washington, DC in the past 20 years.

Since young, she has demonstrated interest, ability and talent regarding the world of arts, having taking countless courses, participated on different art groups and events throughout her life, but, over the last decade, the artist has been once again exploring her abilities, focusing on painting and sculpturing. She has been using all sorts of techniques on her paintings, exploring the abstract world by using different types of media, geometrics figures, patterns and forms, pointillism and so on. In parallel, she has been sculpturing on terracotta, gesso and iron, creating creative and visually striking sculptures.
