Who am I? We often ask ourselves this question. My life has been in a multitude of spaces and there was no time for who and what I really was. This is an exploration... I am close to nature, now my children are grown, I live isolated in the Spanish countryside where I try and detach myself from the necessities humans surround themselves with.

I am diagnosed borderline autistic and while in futile attempt to save nature through planting trees and nature photography... I am human... and here explore nature and also human. My studio is everywhere, in nature and city. Part of my identity crisis starts with my name. Maria by my family, Rosa in Spain, ... Goldscheider, my artistic grandfather and great grandfathers names, who I dedicate my photography to and not least to my namesake grandmother, Rose Marie, a great, practical and inspiring woman.

My birth registered name is Rosa Maria Dencker-Rasmussen.
