Svetlana Gorina a Russian artist from St. Petersburg.
I started drawing in 1998 (charcoal, pencil and oil pastels), with oil paints began to work in 2015.
Svetlana has been published by Saatchi Art, Fine Art America, Loupe Art, Art Quid, Aedra Fine Art and other publications.
Most of paintings are in private collections and funds in Russia, Spain, Italy, Israel, France, Bulgaria, Armenia and North America.
Currently the paintings available for sale are located in Russia, Israel, France, Italy, Bulgaria, Armenia and North America.

For a long time I chose and studied the styles of drawing from different schools. At the beginning of my drawing, I studied the Russian avant-garde - in particular, the school of Osip Abramovich Sidlin (1909-1972). Osip Sidlin studied at VKHUTEIN - at the Faculty of Painting under Alexander Savinov, Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin and Alexander Osmerkin, a member of the Jack of Diamonds group. From 1936 to 1972 (with a break for the war years) Sidlin taught in amateur art studios at the houses of culture. The work in the studios Sidlin was analytical, experimental, continuing the work of GINHUK, the departments of which were headed by Malevich, Matyushin, Filonov, Tatlin. Such major russian artists as Yuri Nashivochnikov left Sidlin's studio. Yuri Nashivochnikov who created the Sidlin School and the Temple Wall association. I studied the Russian avant-garde at the "Temple Wall". I transformed the classic avant-garde style into an abstract form, replacing rigid geometry with a streamlined form, pushing the color edges against a multi-colored background. Then I studied Impressionism and Abstractionism. Namely, the transfer of the meaning of the picture through color and light. The symbiosis of impressionism and avant-garde is what I am doing now...
